Wallington Hall Wedding
It was great to meet up with Lydia and Steve ahead of their Wallington Hall Wedding. Currently living in London, Steve will be returning home to the North East for the biggest day of his life. And Lydia’s family will be travelling all the way from America to be part of her big day.
The weather in Northumberland was excellent today and Wallington was very busy with many families taking in a little bit of what it has to offer. The staff could not of been more helpful and opened up the house a little early so we could have a look around before it opened to the public.
This will be my first wedding at this wonderful National Trust venue. The magnificent 300 year old family house is a wedding photographer’s dream with an abundance of amazing backdrops for photos. Inside the house there is a split level central hall with beautiful plasterwork decoration, stone arches and hanging artwork. Outside there are elegant steps on all sides and stunning Northumberland countryside as far as the eye can see. Then there is the walled garden, the clock tower and several lakes.
